📜 Lore

Before mortal kingdoms drew their borders, five great dragons fought over who would rule the skies and collect tribute from everything beneath them. Their factions survive in ruined monuments, forbidden oaths, and several territorial disputes that cartographers would prefer to ignore.

Gold/Green - Sylvarax

The Verdant Compact. Sylvarax united the forest broods against the burning armies, turning ancient woodlands into living fortresses. His followers defended every root, though villages built above those roots were considered negotiable.

Copper - Kharvoss

The Iron Covenant. Kharvoss fortified the mountain depths and armed his broods for a war of attrition. His strongholds outlasted three rival offensives and, regrettably, most of his allies.

Gold/Red - Azrathul

The Cinder Dominion. Azrathul claimed the first throne and declared every other dragon a rebel. His armies brought fire to the argument, which did little for diplomacy but simplified the maps.

Silver/Blue - Vaelrith

The Stormbound Court. Vaelrith commanded the high peaks and storm fronts, striking supply routes from above the clouds. Her court regarded ground warfare as a failure of imagination.

Rainbow - Irixath

The Prism Conclave. Irixath gathered spellbound broods and renegade seers, seeking to seize the ancient magic beneath the contested lands. The Conclave signed treaties with all four rivals, each in a different enchanted ink.
